Lost 30 pounds, now what?

by Josh
(Hedgesville, WV)

Late in October of 2009, I started running about three miles a night. It took me four months or so to hit the weight I was going for, but I did it. I went from 190 to 160 pounds. So, about February this year. Actually, from 190 to 158 pounds, but you know, rounding and waterweight fluctuation and whatnot. Anyway, fast forward to now. I've been running the same amount every night since then. Thing is, I've maintained 160 pounds. It's been another 3 months, but I haven't lost anymore weight. Have I burned off all the fat my body wants me to?

I have these weird flappy roll things on my stomach. Is it excess skin or stubborn fat? Both? I can grab them and pull them from my stomach. I lost my weight from my stomach, chest and face. My legs are solid muscle (I'm a toe walker of 17 years) and I've always had skinny arms.

I'm also on a diet, always have been. I pretty much only eat three meals a day with maybe one snack. I drink milk with breakfast, water through the day, and when I run at night I drink green tea.

What can I do to get rid of this stomach pudge? It doesn't want to go away. I've decided that maybe I should start doing some core exercises, mountain climbers and planks are easiest for me to do. Any tips or advice for me? Also, since I want to work my abdominal, is there any supplement out there that I can use with my workout? I don't want to get ripped, just tone up my stomach. I'm not into the whole rock hard abs thing, but I do want a flat stomach.
