Should I eat fat burning foods to remove fat from the belly before doing bicycle manuevers?
Will it do more harm if I simply do the crunches before eating fat burning foods?
Your questions are brief and don't contain much detail but they make me believe that perhaps you have some misunderstandings of fat loss science.
Exercise and eating properly are fundamental ways to get fit and lose fat, but you won't be able to target your belly fat by doing bicycle exercises or any other type of abdominal exercise.
Also, it is never a good idea to eat much immediately prior to exercise as your body will want to use energy to digest the food. Exercise will interupt your digestion and could result in cramps. That's why it isn't advisable to go swimming right after eating.
Spot reducing such as doing ab exercises to reduce belly fat is simply not possible. I wrote an article on spot reducing that should help to explain this.

Strength Training And Cardio Exercises
Cindy, I perform strength training three days a week and cardio 2 days a week with a healthy diet. I dont need to to lose too much weight.I am 5/3, 140 pounds. How long should I perform cardio on alternate days to achieve results? Would it be a good idea to purchase the green tea tablets from Walmart to help speed up my metabolism? I am trying to lose the belly fat bulge.

Hi Cindy, Thank you very much for the advice. I will start back with cardio exercise on the stationary bike. Hopefully I will not lose too much weight in order to lose belly fat.
