Help! What am I doing wrong??

by JM, Sheffield

What am I doing wrong?

I am slightly overweight and no matter what I do I can't lose anything.

I dont' each chocolate, cakes, biscuits, take sugar etc. etc, I exercise, don't snack, and I think, do all the right things but never lose a pound.

Anyone's help would be appreciated!

REASON WHY WE DONT LOSE WEIGHT
by: calie

Many people think weight loss is like emptying a bucket with a ladle. A scoop out of the bucket today, tomorrow, next week will eventually empty the bucket. Not so with our bodies. When we decrease our food intake, our bodies try to absorb and store more calories the next time we eat in excess of what our body needs. So, even though we are cutting down most of the time, we will not lose weight if we get extra calories part of the time.

hi,

try maintaining a food diary of the things you eat every day. also how long do you exersice? if your calorie intake is more than doing light exersise will not help you lose weight. you need to maintain a balance at both ends.you need to do at least 40 minutes of brisk walking to think about losing weight.
