Gilly

by Gilly
(Norfolk)

Hi: I work nights, have 3 kids
and I'm having problems losing weight. Please help.

Response from Cindy
Thanks for writing Gilly and I'm sure there are many who have similar problems. It can be tough enough to lose weight even when you have the time to do everything right.

As hard as it may seem, you must make yourself a priority for at least a short time each day. Being healthy and fit, with the increase in energy that you will experience is a great benefit not only to you but to your family. You'll be a shining example to your kids.

Though it sounds trite, your weight and what you do about it is in your own hands.

I encourage you to take one small step at a time, starting with setting aside at least a half hour daily for exercise. Eating habits too should be examined and perhaps adjusted in small increments.

I'd love to talk more about this so please let me know your specific needs and questions.

Best regards,
Cindy
