Am i doing the right thing?

by Becoming Desperate

My current WT is 185 and I am 5'8". My goal is to get back to 130-140.

I have no kids to blame my weight gain on, just a lazy life style.

I know that working out and eating right is the best and safest way to lose the WT and be more healthy. I have cut out fast food and sweets (cookies, cake, ice cream) from my diet and started running.

I run 2-4 miles every other if not every day. I have been doing this for a about 4 weeks. And although I feel better I have yet to see any improvement with my body (shape and size); especially my stomach and love handles (my problem areas).

Is there any thing I am doing wrong? what can I do better?

Do I just need to give it more time? If so how long? I want , so bad, to feel good about they way I look but Im beginning to doubt myself.

Please help. Any advise would me much
appreciated.
